How will China deal with the inversion of its population age distribution? From what I have picked up, they believe robotics will buttress the up-side-down pyramid. If you don't have enough young people, build robots to take care of the elderly. I am not sure how satisfactory that is from the elderlies point of view, but it may be coming anyway in the rest of the world, and then what will the young people do? We need more long range planning. If the old folks are up for it, then let the youngster fulfill their own visions.
