I am fascinated by language and geometry. They are both powerful aids to description and communication. Everything you say about language applies equally to geometry -- and by extension to physical sciences. The universe/nature is filled with so many splendored things that it should come as no surprise that a good many phenomena succumb to geometric/ mathematical description/explanation. But, we assume at our own peril that this implies ALL phenomena will eventually succumb as well.
