I would hazard the guesstimate that about a third of the supposed flatearthers, know perfectly well the Earth is a sphere. They get pleasure out of pulling the wool over the eyes of "fellow" believers and out of enfuriating the non-believers with an endless stream of specious arguments.

In short, they're big-time jerks. Why give them oxygen?
