The methodology that you describes reads like the playbook of a con-man (where "con" stands for "confidence"). So I say, "Beware the con-bot, my son!"
All these roads lead to us vs. them. The antidote is genuine individualism.
I've coined a term for it: ideosyncracy (not idiosyncracy a synonym for excentricity, which is exaggerated individualism, rather the juxtapositioning of ideas to promote general welfare). This doesn't need to be taught, it's inate. But it can be suppressed. True education draws it out (as in "educe"); bad education -- indoctrination -- strives to crush it.
